14th Annual Blue Ridge Kite Festival at Green Hill Park - Roanoke/Salem, VA April 21st, 2012

The Blue Ridge Kite Festival is one of the RAF's premier events of the year.  The cities of Roanoke and Salem really help us put on a great show, providing us with hotel rooms, breakfast and lunch on the field, and a general feeling of support and good will.  For more information, get in touch with Terry Murray via email at 1kitebus@comcast.net.

From Rt. 81 heading SOUTH:

Take exit 143 onto I-581 S/US-220 S toward Airport/Roanoke.  Merge onto VA-101 W/Hershberger Road NW via Exit 3W.  Take the 1st right onto Ordway Drive NW.

From Rt. 460 heading WEST:

From 460 W, take I-581 N/US-220 N toward I-81.  Merge onto VA-101 W/Hershberger Road NW via Exit 3W.  Take the 1st right onto Ordway Drive NW.

Directions to Green Hill Park from the Hotels:

Take I-581-N/US-220 N to I-81 S at exit 1S toward Salem/Bristol.

From I-81, take exit 137 VA-112.  Turn right onto VA-112 S (Wildwood Road).  Turn Right onto US-11/US-460 (Main Street).  From Main Street, turn Left onto Diuguid's Road.

The entrance to Green Hill Park is 0.3 miles on the RIGHT.
